Complete Custom Interiors

Multiple interrelated elements of a single interior from one manufacturer. A solution coordinated in materials, dimensions and function for an apartment, family house or other space.

If you are furnishing an entire apartment, house or a larger part of an interior, it is not always practical to deal with the kitchen, wardrobes and other furniture separately. Complete custom furnishing of an interior makes it possible to design individual elements in relation to one another and tailor them to the specific space and the way it is used.

At its own production site in Pavlov, Vanprodukt makes both individual custom pieces and larger furniture sets for a single project. These can include, for example, custom kitchens, custom built-in wardrobes, storage units, bookcases, workstations or other non-standard interior elements.

The goal is not to make all rooms the same. The point is for furniture in different parts of the interior to work as a well-thought-out whole.

Why design multiple pieces of furniture together

The individual parts of a home often connect directly to one another.

A kitchen may continue into the dining or living area. A built-in wardrobe in the hallway can match a shoe cabinet, bench or other storage elements in material. In a bedroom, wardrobes, chests of drawers, bedside tables or a work corner can be designed together.

When individual elements are created within a single project, it is easier to coordinate:

  • materials, decors and surface finishes,

  • dimensions and proportions of individual units,

  • structural and design details,

  • how the furniture fits the specific layout,

  • storage spaces and how they are used,

  • repeating elements throughout the interior.

The result need not be an interior in a single color or made of a single material. Individual rooms can have their own character. What matters is that there are well-thought-out visual and functional connections between them.

If you are dealing with just one room or one specific piece, also look at the options for custom furniture for a specific space.

What a complete furniture solution can include

The scope always depends on the specific project. Sometimes it is a few connected elements in an open living space, other times the furnishing of a larger part of a house or apartment.

A project can include, for example:

Kitchens and furniture in the living space
A custom kitchen can be designed together with the dining area, storage furniture or elements in the adjoining living room.

Built-in wardrobes and walk-in closet solutions
Built-in wardrobes can use the space from floor to ceiling, fill niches or adapt to sloped ceilings and other non-standard layouts.

Storage furniture
Chests of drawers, bookcases, shoe cabinets, shelves, cabinets or larger storage units can be matched in size and material to other parts of the interior.

Workstations and study areas
Desks, storage parts or a home office can be designed to suit the specific space and to connect to the surrounding furniture.

Non-standard furniture elements
Custom production also makes it possible to handle elements for which standard catalog dimensions or constructions are not enough.

There is no need to order the furnishing of an entire house. In the same way, you can handle, for example, a kitchen with an adjoining living area or several matching elements in different rooms.

A complete interior does not mean a one-size-fits-all package

By the term complete custom interior we mean here primarily comprehensive or larger-scale furnishing of a space with furniture.

This is not automatically a general contract for a renovation including all construction work and all related trades.

Each project can have a different scope. One person needs the kitchen, hallway and living area solved together. Another is furnishing a new family house. For another project, it may be just a few non-standard units that have to connect precisely to an architectural design.

The specific scope of delivery is therefore always determined by the project brief.

This allows you to choose a solution that matches the real needs of the space instead of a pre-made universal package.

Producing multiple parts of an interior in one facility

Vanprodukt has its own production site in Pavlov near Pelhřimov, where it processes solid wood, board materials and metal.

Production equipment includes, among other things, CNC machining technologies, a panel-cutting center, equipment for edge banding, sanding, profiling, lacquering and other production and finishing operations.

You can find a more detailed overview in the category Vanprodukt production technologies.

For a project made up of many elements, an advantage is the ability to coordinate the production of individual units within a single production process. Material, structural and dimensional links can thus be solved together already during technical preparation.

The same technological facilities, moreover, make it possible to produce a single non-standard piece as well as several interconnected furniture units.

Digital preparation of a more complex project

The more elements an interior contains, the more important precise technical preparation is.

In digital production preparation, Vanprodukt uses systems including IMOS and AlphaCAM. Designs and technical documents can be converted into specific production data and then prepared for individual production technologies and CNC machining.

Digital preparation matters even when producing a single non-standard piece. For a larger project it is even more important, because you have to work with a greater number of parts, dimensions and mutual connections.

The result is a combination of an individual interior solution with precisely prepared production.

Furniture to fit the space, not the space to fit the furniture

One of the main advantages of custom production is the ability to respond to a specific layout.

An interior can include:

  • niches and alcoves,

  • sloped ceilings,

  • different room heights,

  • non-standard floor plans,

  • the area around doors or windows,

  • places where the standard depth or width of furniture does not fit.

Instead of searching for a ready-made product that at least roughly fits into the space, furniture can be designed according to the available dimensions and the required function.

With a more complete project, it is possible to think about the entire interior in the same way – where you need storage space, how the individual parts should connect to each other, and which elements should be dominant or, conversely, visually recede.

Materials do not have to be the same everywhere

A comprehensive interior solution does not mean using a single decor in every room.

On the contrary, it is possible to combine different materials and surfaces according to the function of individual parts while keeping certain shared elements.

For example, a decor used on the kitchen units can continue only on selected furniture in the living area. Another space can work with a different color but keep the same structural detail or material accent.

It is important to address materials in the context of the whole project rather than choosing each piece completely separately.

In Vanprodukt's production, depending on the nature of the order, we can work with board materials, solid wood, metal elements and various methods of surface finishing.

How preparing a complete furniture fit-out works

The basis is to describe the space and the scope of the planned project as well as possible.

For an initial assessment of the project, the following helps in particular:

A floor plan or project documentation
If you have documentation of the house, apartment or specific space, it gives the manufacturer basic information about the layout and dimensions.

An idea of the scope
It is good to determine which parts you want to address together – for example the kitchen, hallway, living room and bedroom.

Inspiration and look requirements
Photos, visualizations or examples of materials and a style you like can help.

Functional requirements
With furniture, it is important to know not only how it should look but also what you will store in it and how you will use it.

Depending on the nature of the specific order, the next steps may include measuring, consulting on the solution, choosing materials, technical preparation, production, transport and installation.

If you already have a design from an architect or interior design studio, production can also be based on the supplied project and technical documentation.

Experience with different types of interiors

Our production capabilities are best illustrated by our references.

Published projects include, for example, kitchens, built-in wardrobes, a built-in bookcase, office spaces, a showroom, nursery schools, and furniture for a lecture hall and the dining facilities of the BioPharma Hub of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Masaryk University.

We at Vanprodukt also took part in larger projects, including TechTower, the Horácká Multifunctional Arena in Jihlava and Hotel Botanique in Prague. These projects were carried out in cooperation with the company Profil nábytek.

The references thus show experience with both individual custom pieces and projects where larger numbers of furniture and interior elements need to be produced and coordinated.

Complete custom furniture from a Czech manufacturer

Vanprodukt is a Czech family-owned company with a tradition dating back to 1992. It makes furniture at its own production site in Pavlov in the Vysočina Region and combines furniture-making experience with digital preparation and modern production technologies.

This allows us to handle a single non-standard product, several connected units, or the larger-scale furnishing of an entire project.

If you are furnishing a larger part of an interior and want to address the individual elements together, send us a floor plan, project documentation, photos or a basic idea of the scope of the project. Based on the specific brief, we can assess the production options and next steps.

Frequently asked questions

What does a complete custom interior mean?

In Vanprodukt's case, it is primarily comprehensive furnishing of a space – several interconnected pieces or units made according to the specific layout and project requirements. It does not have to mean furnishing every room.

Can a kitchen and built-in wardrobes be done at the same time?

Yes. Vanprodukt makes custom kitchens, built-in wardrobes and other custom furniture. When designed together, dimensions, materials, look and the connections between individual parts of the interior can be coordinated.

Do you make furniture for an entire apartment or family house?

Vanprodukt's production capabilities make it possible to deliver both individual pieces of furniture and larger sets of interconnected elements. The specific scope is always assessed according to the project, the layout and the customer's requirements.

Is a finished design from an architect required?

Not always. Depending on the type of order, the solution can be prepared on the basis of a floor plan, dimensions, measurements and the customer's requirements. If you already have an architectural or interior design, the technical preparation can be based on the supplied documentation.

Does a “complete interior” also include all construction work?

Not automatically. This service focuses primarily on complete or larger-scale furnishing of an interior with furniture. The exact scope of delivery always needs to be determined according to the specific project.

Can just a few matching pieces be made?

Yes. Furnishing an entire apartment or house is not a requirement. An order can include, for example, a kitchen with adjoining furniture in the living area, or a built-in wardrobe together with other storage elements.
