Our History

Vaněk – výroba nábytku, spol. s r. o. was founded in 1992 by Pavel Vaněk as a privately owned family company. From the outset, the business focused on the production of furniture and wooden products, with a strong emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and long-term development.

In 1993, we established cooperation with Jablonex a. s. Another major milestone followed in the period from 1995 to 2020, when the company manufactured products for IKEA. This stage played a significant role in strengthening our manufacturing expertise, production capacity and overall business stability. During this period, projects and product ranges such as FROJESTA & STRIPA, TJUSSIG & STALL, Variera and Lantliv were also developed.

In 1995, production was relocated to new manufacturing premises in Pavlov, where the company remains based today. In the years that followed, both turnover and production capacity grew steadily, and in 2007 the company made a major investment in its manufacturing facilities.

From 2013 to 2019, we worked with RUSTA, for whom we produced, among other items, shelf ladders, chests of drawers and coffee table sets.

Since 2020, the company has been undergoing a significant transformation. It has been investing in the expansion and diversification of its machinery and production capabilities, broadening its manufacturing focus to include solid wood, panel materials and metal, and serving both the B2B and B2C segments. Custom-made production and bespoke furniture solutions have also become an important part of our development.

Today, the company continues to advance its digitalisation, ERP implementation, CAD/CAM development and expansion of its customer portfolio. Our customers include, for example, Jablonex, IKEA, Rusta, Resch Möbelwerkstätten, Flexa, Ahrend, Wissner-bosserhoff, Profil-nábytek, Nomiland, Bath Deluxe and others.
